I can be skeptical and slow to trust people. Especially when people I’ve never met email me out of the blue about articles they think I’d like on my website. But I’m so glad I let my guard down last week when the incredible Alexandria Heinz from FTD messaged me about International Women’s Day.

It’s easy to forget how hard women fought throughout the years, and how many women are still fighting, for something so simple as respect and equality. It seems like a no-brainer to me, but then I realize that in my skepticism, I’m just as guilty for not giving someone a chance so that positive messages can spread further and reach more people.

So, in the spirit of Women’s History Month, and to honor International Women’s Day, I am so very pleased to share a message from my new pal Alex at FTD to help inspire women around the world and to be an example of the trust, respect, and camaraderie we should all show one another.
