Food is fun. Food is fuel. And the type of food we eat directly affects our minds and bodies.
Now, we don’t have to eat healthy all the time. And we don’t necessarily have to follow strict guidelines. But when our daily diet doesn’t align with the feelings we want to feel or the life we want to live, then we’re not in sync with what’s truly important to us.
Therefore, we need think about food as part of our overall lifestyle. Whether we value relationships, conscious consumerism, body building, healthy organs, warding off preventable diseases, reducing waste, reducing animal consumption, or the like, we need to understand how food plays a role in our lifestyle goals and choices.
And then we need to prioritize food in such a way that reflects our goals and choices.
Remember, we are what we eat. So, let’s assess who we are or who we want to be, then align our food decisions accordingly.
