When our bodies don’t work well, it affects every aspect of our lives. It might also make us feel cranky, angry, resentful, or even fearful.
But no matter what condition our bodies are in, there is always something we can do to help them work as best they can. Though miracles may not happen, and we may not be able to reverse the clock, the act of doing something can lift our mood and help us regain a sense of ownership of our lives.
It’s funny, we often think of physical activity as a way to lose weight. But with a lifestyle of inactivity, we lose so much more.
Please, move your body every day. In any way you can. Lift your arms to the sky. Wiggle your toes and fingers. Dance, run, walk, climb, paddle – do something. It’s worth it.
