“For myself I am an optimist – it does not seem to be much use to be anything else.” – Winston Churchill

Practical Optimism

You don’t have to be happy and positive all the time. But you don’t have to be a grumpy ol’ grump either.

There’s a way to balance optimism and practicality. It’s rooted in acceptance and responsibility – knowing you’ll always be exactly where you need to be with whatever you have at hand; and being proactive yet understanding that you can’t control most of your environment.

It’s a beautiful, tranquil space where no adversity can penetrate. And it’s not naive or passive. It’s an active space where you feel empowered and truly take ownership over your thoughts, decisions, and actions.

Consider it and experiment. Play around so that you can find that space where you know you’ll be okay, even if things go awry.
